TICKIT

The Teacher Institute for Curriculum Knowledge about Integration of Technology (TICKIT) assists teachers in creating high-quality uses of technology in their classrooms, culminating in at least one major curriculum unit designed and taught each semester.

Schools benefit from the increased use of computers in the classroom, and gain a team of teacher mentors who work with other colleagues on technology infusion. They can also see specific curricular examples of the computer investments made in their buildings.

Participating teachers benefit from knowledge and practical experience, as well as gaining credit for two graduate courses that can be transferred to other programs.

The TICKIT web site provides more information the TICKIT program, valuable links in the Resource Center, and past projects (such as WebQuests) in the Project Gallery.

Please Note: The TICKIT program ended in May 2003 but the Website will still be maintained.
